How To Use
- Cook 1/2 cup toor dal in a pressure cooker with 1/4 tsp turmeric. Churn and set aside.
- Add 1 roughly diced tomato, 2 tbsp tamarind pulp, and 1 tsp jaggery to 1 cup water, and bring to a boil.
- Add 1½ tbsp rasam powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, salt to taste and boil for 5-7 min.
- Add dal and water as per desired consistency. Boil for 7 min.
- Season with 1 tsp mustard, 1/4 tsp hing, and 1 tbsp ghee.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
