How To Use
- Cook 3/4 cup of toor dal in a pressure cooker with 1/4 tsp turmeric. Churn and set aside.
- Heat 2-3 tsp oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, 1/4 tsp hing, 2-3 red chillies and curry leaves, and shallots.
- Add 1 roughly diced tomato and fry until cooked.
- Add boiled vegetables, 2 tbsp tamarind pulp, and cooked dal
- Add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 2 tbsp sambar powder and cook till it comes to a boil.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and 1 tbsp ghee and serve hot.
